The Three Musketeers
April 25, 2009Andrea, Steffano and Dario (“The Three Musketeers”) came to visit me all the way from Italy. We (Monling and I) had a Dim Sum (Chinese) lunch with them and they thought it was wonderful food (every smal dish was returned empty to the kitchen). The day before we had dinner in Haarlem at restaurant ‘Pieck’ and sat until late in the garden behind the restaurant (until we were eaten by mosquitoes).
I promised Andrea to show him a lighthouse and so we went to Noordwijk aan Zee (Google Earth coordinates 52o14’55.76″ North and 4o26’02.28″ East). Tuttoqua can you fly over there using MS Flight Sim to take a few pictures from the air?).
When we travelled back I gave Dario (who was the designated driver :-)) some bad instructions (despite our GPS Navigator) so we ended up in the middle of nowhere in a long long long traffic jam! Fortunately they didn’t mind (or so they said). Thanks guys for visiting us!
Ahhhhhhhhhhh, what a beautiful flashback! :-D
by tuttoqua May 19, 2009 at 6:20 amYes, I agree! Can you fly over there using MS Flight Sim to take a few pictures from the air? That would be much appreciated!
by Cranius May 19, 2009 at 11:30 amHey Peter, I will look on the web and I see if I can find an add-on scenario for that location. I will check later the basic MS scenario, but I doubt that I have included that lighthouse ;-)
by tuttoqua May 19, 2009 at 11:50 amOops! I didn’t know that nowadays scenarios are necessary! I used to play the old DOS version and I attempted to play the Windows version (to all avail). Don’t bother to fulfil my request. Thanks for the feedback!

by Author May 19, 2009 at 3:26 pmWell said my friend! You’re so right. Time doesn’t mean anything between friends. You grow old together and when your lives touch again it will look like time has never played a role.

Fijn om je zo te zien met oud-bekenden. Was ook weer leuk voor mij om ze te zien :)

The OPS mafia had a meeting again in Amsterdam;-)
Great to you guys together; like in the old days. You still look like the perfect team…you all were great and I enjoyed working with you so much.
I’m sure you had good fun. Many thanks for sharing this.
Ciao
